ANZTCT Connecting Medical Professionals across Australia and New Zealand ANZTCT is a wide community of medical professionals and scientists working together to provide bone marrow and stem cell transplants to patients across Australia and New Zealand. About Australia and New Zealand Transplant and Cellular Therapies Ltd. (ANZTCT) is a society consisting of medical graduates and scientists involved in the clinical or laboratory management of patients undergoing blood or marrow stem cell transplantation or with an interest in the field of blood or marrow stem cell transplantation research. Their mission is to advocate for wider access to blood and marrow transplants and cellular therapies; improve outcomes for patients of all ages; track blood and marrow transplant and cellular therapy activity and outcomes across Australia and New Zealand; and to facilitate clinical and laboratory research in the field. The Mandate To mark the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Australasia Bone Marrow Transplant Recipient Registry (ABMTRR), it was rebranded to better reflect its operation under the auspices of ANZTCT. Having worked with them on a previous rebrand, we were the obvious choice to help merge the new registry with their existing website, update their branding, and streamline their membership process. The Approach With this mandate, we set out to accomplish several things. First, we wanted to streamline the membership process by making it easier and simpler to manage memberships and integration with their payment processor. Next, we transitioned ANZTCT away from Mailchimp and over to HubSpot as their CRM to help facilitate more effective communication with their members. Finally, and most importantly, we needed to merge the new registry with ANZTCT’s existing website. An upgraded website to better serve ANZTCT’s membership Merging the old registry website to live within ANZTCT’s umbrella was an excellent opportunity to overhaul the ANZTCT website’s backend. While we were adding the new pages to the site, we fine-tuned the site’s UX design and updated the look of it with the new branding. We improved the membership process with MemberPress, which made managing memberships and members-only resources much easier and simpler. Making space for the rebranded ANZTCT registry While the registry had previously existed on its own website, it was important to show the close tie to ANZTCT by migrating it to live under the ANZTCT domain. This meant moving all of the information over to a new section on the ANZTCT website, and ensuring that it was displayed in a user-friendly way. We also created a resource library to make it easier to download the annual data reports and other resources available to members. MemberPress ANZTCT has always been a membership organization and that was reflected in their website. What we did was provide them with more up-to-date tools and integration with their payment processor. This made managing new and existing memberships much easier. Improved UX and design UX and design standards are always evolving. While we weren’t rebuilding ANZTCT’s website from scratch, we took this opportunity to bring the site in line with current standards to improve useability of the site for both members and the general public. Better membership communication with HubSpot More than just expanding the website, ANZTCT wanted to be able to communicate with their membership more effectively. They had previously been using Mailchimp, and while it was useful for email campaigns, it wasn’t able to accomplish everything they needed to keep track of, manage and communicate with their members. We transitioned them over to HubSpot, which is a comprehensive CRM with a wide range of services that were a perfect match for ANZTCT. Working with Third Wunder has been an exceptional experience for ANZTCT. Their team modernized our digital presence with a custom membership system, and an events calendar, while truly understanding our needs. Fresh new look – Brand Refresh We’d previously worked with ANZTCT on a full rebrand when they changed their name to reflect the larger scope of their mandate, but they were overdue for a refresh. To update their branding, we provided a refined logo, updated brand colours and font stack. This brought ANZTCT’s branding in line with current design and branding standards and gave them a toolkit to keep all collateral consistent and on message. A new look and better communication Bringing the registry under the ANZTCT umbrella The final result was a refreshed and expanded website that provided a new home for the ANZTCT Registry. We also delivered long-term operational improvements that continue to help ANZTCT manage and communicate with their membership in a manner befitting the essential work they do for blood and bone marrow stem cell transplant recipients across Australia and New Zealand.
