About

Founded by Bob Katz, Revolution Acoustics®’s mission is to revolutionize the audio industry one product at a time. Their flagship product, the SP66 Multiducer™ turns surfaces like walls and ceilings into speakers that provide high-fidelity, immersive sound while bypassing the standard pit-falls of cone-type loud speakers that have plagued audio engineers for decades.

As a pioneer in invisible audio solutions, Revolution Acoustic®’s speakers have been installed in luxury showrooms and architectural spaces around the world.

The Challenge

The biggest challenge with this project was figuring out how to visually represent a product known for its invisible formfactor. Where their old site emphasized the technical aspects of Revolution Acoustics®’s product line, we needed to shift the focus onto how invisible audio can transform a space. That meant we needed a better understanding of who makes purchasing decisions on these kinds of projects, and what information they find most useful.

On the technical side, our client was being underserved by the tools they were working with. While the site was built on Webflow, it did not take advantage of its features, and was not set up with any tracking or analytics, which made marketing and lead generation much more difficult.

In addition, they had been working with MailChimp as their email client, but it was no longer meeting their needs and without the ability to integrate their tools with their website, it made scaling their marketing initiatives all but impossible.

The Approach

Our goal with this project was to give Revolution Acoustics® a digital presence that told their story and expressed their visual aesthetic. At the core of our approach was better storytelling meant to inspire, rather than drown readers in boring technical details. We worked with stakeholders to develop consumer personas, which informed the new content and visual style of the website.

Beyond a new website, they were looking for a centralized platform that could solve for their sales needs that would be easy to use and adaptable to the growth and evolution of their business. As a certified HubSpot partner, we knew that the platform would be a perfect fit.

Content & SEO Optimization

Content Done Right

One of the things we noticed right off the bat was that Revolution Acoustics®’s web copy was not effectively communicating the value of their products. We wanted to do more than just write for search algorithms. With the recent changes in SEO, it was more important than ever that we created content designed to speak to people and to convert visitors into customers.

We worked closely with our client to build a narrative that explored the full range of possibilities and use cases for invisible audio solutions, while being grounded in the real-world value that they’ve already brought to high-end showrooms and luxury spaces around the world.

Web Design & Development

Giving Revolution Acoustics® a digital facelift

Form meets function with this website. Revolution Acoustics® needed a site that both reflected their mission to revolutionize commercial and residential speaker technology, but also provided the tools to scale their marketing initiatives.

  • Visual Style

    A key priority for this project was to develop a strong visual brand that reflected Revolution Acoustics®’s body of work creating expansive, immersive soundscapes. This meant sourcing images that would express all the possibilities that truly invisible audio solutions bring to their projects.

  • Content Management

    As part of the broader effort to give Revolution Acoustics® better infrastructure, we chose to build the website using HubSpot’s website builder. This enabled full integration of HubSpot’s suite of tools, empowering Revolution Acoustics® to take a more integrated approach to serving their customers through their entire buyer journey.

  • Tracking & Analytics

    Beyond the visual, our client needed a website that served their broader marketing and sales strategy. That started with enabling analytics and tracking on the site. We set up tools like Google Console and Tag manager for better data collection and greater insights into audience demographics and behaviour.

HubSpot CRM

One Platform To Do It All

Our client was looking to expand their marketing machine and wanted an all-in-one solution. HubSpot was the logical choice. As certified HubSpot solutions provide, we were well equipped to get them set up with a CRM more than equipped to meet their current and future needs.

Email Marketing

Revolution Acoustics® was already working with an email marketing platform, but they were outgrowing the capacity of their plan and were struggling to manage their existing email lists. With HubSpot, not only were they able to better segment and filter their lists, they gained the tools to enrich each contact and create lists to target prospects at different stages of their buyer’s journey.

Audience Segmentation

At the heart of this project was the need to provide our client with tangible, actionable data about their audience and reach. WIth HubSpot’s advanced audience segmentation tools, we helped them gain deeper insights into who their audience is, which has informed their marketing and sales strategies going forward.

Lead Generation & Nurturing

The last piece of the puzzle was lead management. Now that Revolution Acoustics® was set up to collect more than just email addresses, we created workflows to enrich contact information and nurture leads, turning prospects into satisfied customers.
